Tidal Wave of Truth?

tidalwave

In today’s “viewpoint” section of the local newspaper, someone pointed out how WRONG everyone was about the Jan 6th event because the film that was aired on Fox by Tucker Carlson totally showed that it was a peaceful demonstration.

Read on …

Okay folks, if you are one who openly supported the J-6 committee and their “deadly insurrection” tripe, you may wish to avail yourself of the opportunity to slip quietly away into the night before the tidal wave of truth washes over you

If it weren’t for that pesky mid-term election, the democrats in Congress would still be holding the J-6 video tapes incommunicado. Elections have consequences, as they say and thus Tucker Carlson has come into possession of said tapes and began airing them on Monday evening. A bitter pill for many, I am sure, to watch the J-6 committee’s narrative being destroyed.

Sadly, all that remains now, is for the wrongly convicted to be released from imprisonment.

It’s simply mind-boggling that people are so easily convinced when it aligns with their personal viewpoint. (And if we’re honest, this can work both ways.)

I tend to think there will be a rebuttal to this in tomorrow’s edition. At least I hope so!

        • Probably not. According to this guy and others, it was all staged to LOOK like an uprising. I mean, how could ANYONE be so inconsiderate and create so much damage just because their idol wasn’t chosen as POTUS? SMH

        • Maybe Orwell was right all along.
We must fear those who have power to control information. They can convince us today Oceania is our friend and tomorrow tell us we have always been at war with Oceania

  1. Carlson had 44 thousand hours of footage to pick and choose from to create the narrative he wanted. I could cut together a friggin episode of little house on the prairie with that much footage. The worse problem with Fox News is the utter gullibility of its viewers and they’re refusal to even consider they might ever be wrong about anything they’ve been told to believe. Yes, people on all sides tend to gravitate towards things they already believe but most calm, intelligent people realize they do that and can accept they may just not be right all the time, and anyone who blindly listens to a piece of human turd like Carlson without skeptical analysis is as dumb and lazy as they are stupid. Sadly, a large percentage of my relatives fall into this description.

  2. Regarding the stark contrast between hard reality vs. glaring delusion/lies of 21st-century American society I stumbled across this quote while watching an exceptional documentary on passionate, joy, and pain of Gypsy-Flamenco Andalusian culture and expression in music and dance. I find it incredibly spot-on in MANY facets of (empty, devoid?) modern living:

    I would like to renounce
    everything in this whole world
    And return to live again
To see whether in a new world
    I could find more truth.

    Hear hear to that! 🥃

  3. Heard all about it and yes there are stupid fools who will believe it..
Between the corruption and cowardliness of the republicans and the braindead who believe all this BS, I can only say, Im glad I’m old…

  4. Excuse the crudity, but there is an old expression that says’ “Don’t piss in my face then tell me it was raining”.
Anyone who thinks that was a peaceful demonstration would easily believe it was raining.
    Best wishes, Pete.
