We’re back!! All went well until the last day as we were (literally) getting ready to leave and the jacks on our motorhome wouldn’t retract! We ended up having to raise them manually … and THEN, when we thought we were on our way, the engine wouldn’t start. The battery was dead. Fortunately, the RV Park owner provided us with a charge so we FINALLY headed home.
Then, as we were just a few miles from home, we ALMOST had a major wreck. A driver in a car ahead of us decided at the last minute to make a left turn and stopped for oncoming traffic. Fortunately, she realized we were immediately behind her and instead pulled over to the right side of the road to get out of our way. We still had to SLAM on the brakes to avoid hitting her. Quite a scare!
I do hope to post some pictures in a day or two, but I have to figure out how to reduce them in size for the blog.
Glad you made it. Glad you’re back. GROG

yay. you were missed. Sorry you had so much trouble getting back, it can be totally frustrating. Lucky you didn’t have two seats on a plane waiting for you…

A frustrating end to your holiday, but at least you had a good time before the problems arose.
If you create a Flicker account and upload your photos to Flickr, you can then insert the url of each photo into a wordpress post and it uses none of your space allowance. I have been doing that for a couple of years now.

Best wishes, Pete.
